By downloading, installing, accessing, or using CardScope ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and Aurasoft UK ("we", "us", "our").
CardScope is a mobile application for Pokémon card collectors that provides:

Limitations: No binders, no decks, no cloud sync. The 10-card limit is permanent until you upgrade.
One-time purchase unlocks:
No subscription required. Pay once, own forever.
Optional subscription for users who want multi-device access:
Note: Cloud sync is entirely optional. The app works fully without it.
Pro tier will include (when available):
All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not handle payment card details directly.
The Cloud Sync subscription renews automatically every 30 days.
You will be charged through your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can cancel your Cloud Sync subscription at any time through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your app purchase remains valid - you only lose cloud sync features.

We cannot process refunds directly. For refund requests beyond App Store/Play Store policies, contact us at contact@aurasoft.co.uk with subject "Ref: CardScope - Refund Request".
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes for subscriptions will be communicated to you 30 days in advance via email and in-app notification. The one-time app purchase price may change for new customers but does not affect existing purchasers.
To use cloud sync features, you must create an account. You agree to:
You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms without notice.
If you cancel your Cloud Sync subscription:

Card images and data are sourced from public APIs (TCGdex API) and are used under fair use for identification and informational purposes. All card images remain the property of their respective copyright holders.
CardScope's code, design, user interface, features, and original content are protected by copyright and remain the property of Aurasoft UK. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
You retain ownership of your collection data (card lists, notes, binder organization, deck lists). By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely for providing the Service.
CardScope is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurasoft UK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or £25, whichever is greater).

EU Users: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under EU consumer protection laws.
Before filing a legal claim, please contact us at contact@aurasoft.co.uk with subject "Ref: CardScope - Dispute" to attempt to resolve the issue informally. We aim to respond within 30 days.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aurasoft UK regarding the use of CardScope and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
